VLDL cholesterol is a type of blood fat. It's considered one of the "bad" forms of cholesterol, along with LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
The optimal level of total cholesterol in adults is less than 200 mg/dl. Long-term exposure to environmental tobacco smoke has been shown to increase a person's risk for cardiovascular disease.
Very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) is not good for the heart. HDL is considered 'good' cholesterol as it helps move bad cholesterol from other parts of your body to your liver for removal.
VLDL is more harmful althought it has more triglycerides.
