I recently started playing badminton after a long break, and every time I try to hit the shuttle hard, I feel pain in the lower part of my bicep, just above the elbow. I do warm-ups and stretches before playing, but the pain still comes back. It also vibrates down to my palm. When I rest, the pain goes away without any medicine, but it comes back the next day when I try to hit the shuttle hard again. If I dont hit it too hard, I dont feel any pain. What could be causing this and how can I prevent it?
It sounds like you may be experiencing a repetitive strain or overuse injury, possibly involving the muscles or tendons near your elbow. This can happen when exerting forceful movements after a long break. It's important to focus on gradually increasing your strength and flexibility in that area, and consider incorporating rest periods to avoid overloading the muscles.
