I recently had laparoscopic surgery for an inguinal hernia, but it's been 10 days and now I'm dealing with fever and chills. They found out there's an infection and pus where the mesh is, though it's sterile with no bacteria found. The doctor thinks my body is rejecting the mesh and wants to do another surgery to take it out. Is there any other option besides a second surgery and mesh removal? And if they do take out the mesh, am I at risk of getting another inguinal hernia? Just looking for some advice on what to do next. Any suggestions?
Mesh is required to strengthen the wall, in direct hernia this is done to prevent the recurrence of hernia.. Doctor will the mesh allergy, mesh is made of inert metal which don't react with external agent.. But if you are really allergic to it then they will remove it...

My dad has been dealing with an anal fistula for almost two months now and I'm really worried about him. Can you give me an idea of how much the surgery might cost? We're trying to plan things out but I'm not sure what to expect financially.
Anal fistula surgery costs ₹30,000–₹80,000 depending on procedure type and hospital. Laser options may be costlier but offer faster recovery.
