Normal appendix do not cause any pain unless it is inflammed. During that period, sudden sharp pain that starts on the right side of your lower abdomen. It may also start near your belly button and then move lower to your right. The pain may feel like a cramp at first, and it may get worse when you cough, sneeze, or move.
Usual causes of stomach pain are acidity, indigestion, gall stones, intestinal disorders, kidney stones and infections. Most of them can be mild and be treated at home under doctor's guidance but sometimes, any of them can cause sudden sharp pain with intense vomiting and diarrhea. So, it is better to consult with doctor and take treatment as early as possible.
Most common causes of stomach pain include indigestion after eating, gallstones and cholecystitis, pregnancy, gas, inflammatory bowel disease, appendicitis,ulcers,gastritis,GERD, pancreatitis.
