I'm really worried about my dad, he's 67 and was diagnosed with TB after having pleural effusion in his right lung. He's been prescribed R cinex 600 once a day, pyrazinamide 750 two tablets at once daily, and combutol 1000 once daily by his pulmonologist. I'm just concerned about him taking both of those pyrazinamide tablets at the same time, like the doctor said, especially since he weighs 68 kg. Does this sound right to you?

I've been having issues with heavy breathing when I'm running or using the stairs lately, and Im starting to get worried. I'm a smoker and have been smoking on and offsmoked for two years, took a break for a year, and then picked it up again about three months ago. Could my smoking be causing these breathing problems? What can I do to improve this situation?

I'm really worried about my brother. We're from Pakistan and he's been diagnosed with acute lung fibrosis. Even the doctors at Sheikh Zayed Hospital can't figure out the cause. We've done all kinds of tests at the top hospitals here, but we're still in the dark. I'm wondering if there's any way to send his samples to one of the best lung and pulmonary hospitals in India for further testing? What do you think would be the best course of action?

I'm feeling this deep and incomplete breathing at random times during the day, and then I get shortness of breath when exercising. A few months back, I was even coughing up blood for about 34 days, and had something similar happen a year ago. On top of that, I'm having these gastro issues like thick and sticky mucus in my stool every 10 to 20 days. I've lost a bunch of weight, dropping to 79 kg over the past 3 years, and I feel like my growth has stopped. Do you have any idea what's going on with me?

do a chest xray and rule out tuberculosis
