I'm experiencing some kind of white fluid coming out of my anus, and it's causing me really bad itching. It's not related to my bowel movements. What kind of doctor should I see about this?

It sounds like you might have an anal infection or a condition like a fistula. Please consult a proctologist or a general surgeon as soon as possible for proper diagnosis and treatment. Early care can relieve your symptoms and prevent complications.

View allI'm really confused about my H. pylori infection results. I've been dealing with gastritis for about three months now. After finishing two rounds of antibiotics, the first test still showed a positive result for H. pylori. I just had an endoscopy and the RUT test came back positive too. But then, on the other hand, the histopathology report from six biopsy samples says there's no H. pylori colonization. Which one should I trust?
It seems there is a discrepancy between the RUT (rapid urease test) and the biopsy results. The RUT is positive, suggesting H. pylori presence, while the biopsy shows no colonization. In such cases, the biopsy results are generally considered more accurate as it involves a deeper tissue sample. It would be advisable to consult your doctor for further evaluation, as other factors could influence these results.

I've been having really frequent bowel movements lately, and the stool has a super foul smell. Its often runny, and I keep feeling bloated because of all the gas. What could be going on here? Should I be worried?

I've been dealing with hepatitis A since last month, and I've noticed my SGPT levels are all over the place, sticking around 60-90 for the past two weeks. It's like they go down a bit and then shoot back up again. I'm trying to be careful with a bland diet and haven't been physically active, just doing stuff on the computer. Any idea why this is happening? Is it normal for SGPT to take a while to stabilize?
SGPT fluctuating after Hepatitis A is fairly common as your liver heals. It can take a few weeks to a couple of months for the levels to normalize, depending on the severity of the infection and your overall health. Keep following your doctor's advice on diet, rest, and lifestyle, and avoid any additional strain on your liver. If you continue to see fluctuations or have concerns, your doctor may recommend further testing to ensure full recovery.
