Im a 29-year-old woman and have been on fertility medications for conception. Ive been married for 3 years. My last period started on August 27th, and this time I only had slight bleeding on September 28th, lasting just one day, with no proper menstrual flow. Ive had irregular periods since I was 14, and Ive tried various medications to regulate them before and after marriage. For the past few months, Ive been taking Regesterone (Norethindrone) for 10 days, and I would get my period a few days after stopping it. Usually, the flow is heavy for about 4 days.However, this cycle, I didnt take any Estrogen or Progesterone tablets. Instead, I was prescribed a low dose of Thyronorm (25mg) for high Antithyroid antibodies. Im wondering if the thyroid medication has affected my period, or if not taking the Progesterone is the reason for the scanty bleeding. Could you clarify?
