The CD79A (B Lymphoid Cell Marker) test helps detect the presence of B-cell lymphoma in the body.This cancer develops within the white blood cells (WBCs) or lymphocytes.
There are two primary types of lymphocytes, out of which the B-type cells affect the disease growth. These cells are responsible for producing antibodies to ward off germs and infections. They are distributed throughout your body through the lymphatic system, keeping you safe from ailments.
