Fasting blood sugar (in the morning, before eating): Less than 100 mg/dL. 1-2 hours after a meal: Less than 140 mg/dL. 2-3 hours after eating: Less than 100 mg/dL. So, even if it is 110-120 then it is more and one should lower blood glucose levels.
A healthy blood glucose level fasting is below 100mg/dl and random a reading of random glucose after eating food for 2 hours should be less than 200mg/dl.
Seniors should have random glucose blood levels less than 200mg/dl .Ideally 180mg/dl.
