Should I worry if glycohemoglobin (HbA1C) is 6.7?
One needs to take immediate action as anything above 6.5 means that one has diabetes.

A normal A1C level is below 5.7%, a level of 5.7% to 6.4% indicates prediabetes, and a level of 6.5% or more indicates diabetes.
Ideally, HBA1C should be tested every 3 months. But one can get it done once in 6 months too.
You are recommended to move your body every day. Aim for 30-60 minutes of moderate exercise 5 days per week. Fill half of your plate with non-starchy veggies at every meal, as well as some lean protein and plant-based fat to assist with blood sugar control.
It can be measured by affinity chromatographic methods.
HbA1c is your average blood glucose (sugar) level for the last two to three months. If you have diabetes, an ideal HbA1c level is 48mmol/mol (6.5%) or below.
