A postprandial blood sugar measurement below 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L) is considered normal. If your levels are between 140 and 199 mg/dL (7.8 and 11 mmol/L), it indicates that you may have prediabetes
If HBA1C is 6.8% then it is considered to be Diabetes and you need to consult a Physician
During digestion, foods that contain carbohydrates are converted into glucose. Most of this glucose is sent into your bloodstream, causing a rise in blood glucose levels, which signals your pancreas to produce insulin. The insulin signals cells throughout your body to take in glucose from your bloodstream.
The problem is that 66mg/dl post prandial test suggests low blood sugar levels. One should contact a doctor immediately to avoid further complications.
You should fast for 10 hours before the test and one can eat breakfast or a meal after a test.
