The normal urine pH range is between 4.5 and 8. Any pH higher than 8 is basic or alkaline, and any under 6 is acidic.
A kidney problem may result in high pH in men. This is mainly due to kidneys not properly removing acids. You are recommended to consult with a neprologist at the earliest.
The pH can control the availability of nutrients, biological functions, microbial activity, and the behavior of chemicals.
Studies suggest that the desired pH level of urine should be neutral to slightly alkaline for the person following an Alkaline or Keto-Alkaline diet.
It means that you have a normal pH.
