How do I know that my testosterone levels are increasing?

It is important to keep the levels up because testosterone is a sex hormone that plays important roles in the body. In men, it regulates sex drive (libido), bone mass, fat distribution, muscle mass and strength, and the production of red blood cells and sperm.
Excess weight, hairloss treatments and sedentary lifestyle can decrease testosterone levels.
Low testosterone levels may cause reduced sex drive, erectile dysfunction, low sperm count and hot flashes in men. A very low testosterone levels can also cause infertility.
Depending upon your age your testosterone levels should be between 300 to 900 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL). To be noted, that testosterone decreases with age.
The ideal levels are 270 to 1,070 ng/dL for men (depending on age) 15 to 70 ng/dL for women.
