If next cycle starts from 28 +/- 7 days from the first date of last menstrual cycle then it is considered a normal cycle. A delay of 10 days is not normal and may need evaluation.

I've been having irregular periods just this month, and my gynaecologist put me on Deviry 10mg twice a day for five days. I've taken only two doses so far and I'm noticing some light spotting. I'm a bit worried about whether this is normal and what I should do. Any advice would be really helpful.
