I've been dealing with typhoid and according to my CBC report, my platelets are low. For a few months now, I've been experiencing a lot of hair loss. My doctor suggested taking biotin 5 mg for a month, but it hasn't helped. Could there be something else causing this or any other suggestions you might have?

I'm really worried because my 4-month-old baby has such dry skin, even after using a moisturizer twice a day. I'm currently using Himalaya cream, but it's like his skin is still dry. There's also some peeling under his chin. A doctor recommended Desosoft cream, and we've been using it for 10 days, but nothing's changed. Could you suggest a cream or something else that might help get his skin back to normal?
I recommend trying a gentle and effective moisturizer like Cetaphil Restoraderm Eczema Calming Body Moisturizer. Apply this moisturizer twice a day on the affected areas, especially on the chin where the skin is peeling. Additionally, make sure to keep your baby well-hydrated by giving him plenty of fluids throughout the day.
