One week ago my grand father sputum was tested for AFB and geneexpert both was positive.
After one week again tested for AFB this time it was negative.
Please guide did he has TB or not.

I have chest congestion for about a week with a bit of coughing as well . I am not able to take long breath. My temperature has been normal.

Probable diagnosis is upper respiratory tract infection.Patient is advised tab augmentin 625mg orally,thrice dailly for 5 days,tab levocetrizine 10 mg for 5 days and syrup salbutoml 10 ml thrice dailly for 5 days.

I did CT Scan of thorax with contrast report says " Minimal Bilateral Apical Pleural Thickenings". Can u tell what is the problem.
