Now she is having trouble with the back pain and around neck. Both areas are subjected to pain and stiff ness. Plenty of general physicians are advising me to do get an xray Is spine to rule out pott's spine. Other says- get MRI whole spine to rule tb spineX-ray LS spine or CT scan LS spine. Please tell me what could be the reason and to which specialist should I seek ? Please mention about the test needs to be done. And please explain me one thing. If it's spine TB then why patient is experiencing such thing as she is already taking the medicines for the TB in the lungs.

Yes .MRI spine is advised to the patient for evaluating potts spine TB..If TB spine is present pt needs ATT for another 6 months ,since it is extrapulmonary TB.
