My father has done CECT scan of thorax today.After returning home,he suddenly started shivering severely.His temperature too rose around 102 degree celcius.The doctor gave an anti-allergic medicine and paracetamol.The temperature didn't go down.He still has fever.Is it dangerous to have such symptoms after CECT scan?Do I have to rush him to the hospital?Or these are just allergic reactions which will be normal after sometime.He is diabetic and has a bp of 156100

Patient is advised tab augmentin 625 mg ,orally, thrice daily for 7 days, tab levocetrizine 10 mg bedtime for 5 days and syrup salbutamol 10 ml thrice dailly for 7 days .
