I've read that Deriva CMS initially brings out all the acne from within the skin and then heals it. My doctor asked me to mix it with cetaphil moisturiser and apply on skin for 1 hours before sleeping, wash, and then put cleargel and then sleep. As it is winters here, he said deriva will dry the skin. My question is that, can i use deriva directly on my skin as a spot treatment, even if it is for a few hours so that it doesn't result in a dry patch. Kindly advice on this.
Yes, you can use Deriva as a spot treatment for a few hours if you're concerned about dryness. However, it's important to follow your doctor's advice and monitor for any irritation. Make sure to moisturize well to prevent the skin from becoming too dry, especially during winter.
