I've just got my lung x-ray results back and it mentioned mild patchy consolidations in my bilateral lung fields. This definitely sounds concerning, doesn't it? I'm really curious to know what it all means. Do these findings indicate something serious? Should I be worried about this and what steps should I take next? Looking forward to your guidance.

View allI've come across some information online suggesting that being able to hold your breath for over a minute means you have healthy lungs. I'm curious if this is a valid test for lung health. I personally can hold my breath for a minute and a half. Does that mean my lungs are in good shape, or should I be looking at other signs?

I've been diagnosed with pleural effusion tuberculosis since March 5th, and the anti-TB treatment is underway. Can I safely be around my husband and have relations without risking passing the infection to him? Just trying to make sure he's safe too.

I'm really worried about my dad; hes been in the ICU for 12 days now with this new type of pneumonia the doctors mentioned. There's still no improvement in his condition, and hes on a ventilator to support his breathing. It all started with a cough and a fever, so we thought it was swine flu and took him to the hospital, but the swine flu test was negative, and his heart seems fine. But hes still struggling to breathe normally. They said something about fluid in his oxygen pathways or possibly ARDS. Im really confused and unsure of what to do next, and I could send you his medical reports and prescriptions if that helps. Any advice would be really appreciated.
