I've been noticing a strange noise when I breathe, like a high-pitched hissing sound, especially when Im short of breath after running. It doesnt happen all the time, but when it does, I get a bit worried. I feel fine otherwise, but Im not sure what could be causing this. Any idea what this could be?
The high-pitched "hiss" or puffing noise you're hearing while breathing after running could be related to slight airway narrowing or a bit of congestion, which can occur when you're short of breath. If you're not experiencing other symptoms like wheezing, chest tightness, or discomfort, it may not be a major concern, but if it persists, it could be worth discussing with your doctor to rule out any underlying issues like mild asthma or respiratory irritation.
