I've been having shortness of breath every day, usually after 3 pm. I have to take deep breaths or breathe through my mouth, and sometimes my chest hurts from these deep breaths, though Im not putting too much pressure on it. I drink plenty of water, but Im still not sure whats causing this. Ive been dealing with this since 2014, but it wasnt happening as often back then, and the doctor said I was fine. Now its coming back every day like I mentioned. Any idea what might be going on?
The recurring shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and need for deep breathing or mouth breathing, especially after 3 pm daily, may indicate underlying conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), anxiety, or cardiac issues, and warrants a thorough medical evaluation, including pulmonary function tests, echocardiogram, and blood work, to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.
