I've been dealing with bronchitis for a few months now, and before that, I was coughing up some thick phlegm. My doctor gave me some meds, but I'm kind of worried and thinking about getting a lung function test just to be safe. Can you suggest any tests that would check lung capacity and function? What are the main tests I should consider for this? Would really appreciate your guidance.

View allI'm dealing with a cough that's been lingering for about four days now, and I've been taking azithromycin and asthakind cough syrup. It's been pretty bothersome and sometimes even gives me a headache. Just wondering if there's something else I should try or be worried about? Any suggestions would really help.
Considering you've already taken azithromycin (an antibiotic) and Asthakind cough syrup, here are some next steps: *Next Steps* 1. *Consult your doctor*: Schedule a follow-up appointment to reassess your condition. 2. *Cough syrup adjustment*: Ask your doctor if you can switch to a different cough syrup or adjust the dosage. 3. *Pain relief*: For headaches, you can try over-the-counter pain relievers like paracetamol (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil). 4. *Stay hydrated*: Drink plenty of fluids to help thin out mucus and soothe your throat. 5. *Rest*: Get plenty of rest to help your body recover. *When to Seek Immediate Medical Attention* 1. *Difficulty breathing*: If you experience shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. 2. *Chest pain*: If you have severe chest pain or pressure. 3. *Fever*: If your fever exceeds 102F (39C) or lasts for an extended period. 4. *Severe headache*: If your headache is severe, persistent, or accompanied by confusion, disorientation, or stiff neck.

I'm really curious about something. I quit smoking in February, and since then, whenever I clear my throat with a lot of effort, I notice dark particles in my phlegm. I'm not coughing and don't have any other symptoms, but this has me a bit concerned. Could this be something to worry about, or is it a normal part of the process after quitting smoking?
take tablet mucinac for 5 days

I've been having some trouble with my breathing over the past few months and I tried using a spirometer at home. I could only manage to lift two out of the three balls completely. Is this normal, or should I be looking into getting more tests or treatment for this discomfort?
normal and continue the same
