I'm worried because I was using an earbud to clean my ear, and some of the cotton got stuck inside. I managed to pull some of it out with tweezers, but not all of it. Then I tried putting a couple of drops of Soliwax in my ear. Will this help, or should I be doing something else to ensure my ear is okay?

Using an earbud to clean your ears can push earwax deeper, and leaving cotton behind can cause irritation; attempting to remove the cotton with a plucker can also cause damage; applying Soliwax ear drops may help dissolve the remaining wax, but to ensure relief and avoid further complications, consult an ENT specialist for proper evaluation and safe earwax removal.

View allI've had really bad nasal congestion worse on the right side for 2 years now and my CT scan showed polypoidal mucosal thickening in all my sinuses plus a mild S shaped nasal deviation. My ENT put me on Montek 10 mg and Flutiflo nasal spray but I'm not getting much relief. Tried Ayurveda too with no luck. I'm diabetic, hypertensive and hypothyroid on meds - really don't want surgery but need something that'll actually work. What's the best medical treatment option for me?
Chronic sinus congestion with polyps and deviation responds to intranasal steroids, antihistamines, balloon sinuplasty, and possible biologic therapy before surgery.

I'm having this issue with one side of my nose being blocked all the time, and it switches sides during the day. At night it gets hard to breathe, even through the side that's open. My ears feel blocked too, and my head is constantly heavy, but I'm not dealing with a cold. This has been going on for about four months, and I've already seen my family doctor and tried cetrizine and paracetamol, but nothing's helping. Who should I see about this? Also, is it okay if I use Otrivin daily for my nose problem?
Your persistent, alternating nasal congestion, ear blockage, and head heaviness, without cold symptoms, may indicate a possible underlying condition, such as a deviated septum, nasal polyps, or allergies; consider consulting an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)

I've been diagnosed with sinus issues and my doctor recommended an endoscope surgery. Will this procedure completely fix my problem, and are there any common side effects like facial swelling or other complications I should know about?
