I'm having trouble with my breathing and it's been going on for about two months now. My chest X-ray came out clear, but I've also been dealing with a sore throat and no fever. My temperature is normal. I'm obese with a BMI of 34, and I'm really worried about my breathing issues. My SpO2 levels range between 96 and 99. My grandma has asthma, so I'm wondering if there's a connection. Im using the Seroflo 250 inhaler and Ezicas nasal spray, but Im not sure if I need to do more. Ive got a PFT report from a year ago, and my peak flow meter always reads above 500. Could any of this relate to my breathing difficulties, and what can I do to improve this situation?

View allI'm trying to understand a few things that I'm experiencing right now. My recent chest X-ray showed hyperinflation of the lungs, but my doctor mentioned it might just be because I took a deep breath, saying the X-ray looks normal. The ENT said it could be early signs of asthma. Im on AB Phylline 100mg, Alex Syrup, and Prustalin Antihistamine, which have almost stopped my cough, but I still have phlegm and post-nasal drip, especially when I don't take Prustalin. I have a non-smoker background, no exposure to chemical fumes, but my mom does have asthma, and my IgE level came back at 440 with eosinophils last checked at 10.5. Is this really asthma? Should I be considering inhalers after finishing this current course of medication, and do the X-ray and PFT results seem normal to you?
Your current symptoms and reports suggest allergic airway inflammation that may be managed well without inhalers.Check with family history for asthma

I've recently been diagnosed with COVID-19 and while the fever, diarrhea, and vomiting are gone, I'm really worried about some new symptoms. I'm dealing with severe chest pain, chest tightness, and breathing problems. Right now, I'm on mechanical oxygen support at home. My PT and D-Dimer plasma levels are pretty high, and there's a concern about pulmonary embolism. I've been having excessive sweating for the past two months, leg cramps, and some occasional swelling, which is concerning me even more. My chest X-ray came back clear, but I read that X-rays might not always catch a pulmonary embolism. Could you tell me what I should do next and what would the treatment be if it is a pulmonary embolism?
