I'm a bit concerned after reading my eco report, and I need some clarity on a few things. It mentions "normal cardiac chamber" but then there's "concentric LVH grade lLVDD." What does that mean exactly? Also, it says "trivial MR" and "trivial AR"are these something I should be worried about? There's mention of "NO RWMA," which I'm assuming is a good thing, right? And it states "normal biventricular" function, but then what's "distolic function LVEF60"? Is that normal? Lastly, there's "NO IC clot VEGPE intact IAS IVS"so does this mean everything's okay overall? I'd really appreciate your insights.

Based on the eco report provided, the findings indicate normal cardiac chambers with concentric left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and grade 1 left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD). There is trivial mitral regurgitation (MR) and trivial aortic regurgitation (AR) present. There are no regional wall motion abnormalities (RWMA) noted. The biventricular and diastolic functions are normal with a left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of 60%. There are no intracardiac clots, vegetations (VEG), or pulmonary embolism (PE) observed. The interatrial septum (IAS) and interventricular septum (IVS) are intact. Based on the findings, no specific treatment is required at this point. Regular follow-up with your healthcare provider is recommended to monitor any changes in your cardiac health.

I'm dealing with anxiety from last year, and recently I found out I have high blood pressure. The doctor ran an ECG and said I have left ventricular hypertrophy. I'm on medication for hypertension now. Should I be worried about this left ventricular hypertrophy? I'd love some guidance on this.

"Left ventricular hypertrophy is a serious condition as it indicates that the muscle of the heart's main pumping chamber has thickened. It can be caused by conditions like hypertension. It is important to manage both your anxiety and hypertension to prevent further complications. In addition to your hypertension medication, your doctor may prescribe medications like beta-blockers or ACE inhibitors to help manage left ventricular hypertrophy. Regular monitoring and follow-up with your doctor are crucial in managing this condition."

I'm a bit worried about my pulse rate being 130 when I wake up. Is that considered high? I tested positive for COVID-19 on August 5th, 2020, and thankfully, I tested negative by August 29th, 2020. Could this be related to my elevated pulse rate?

A pulse rate of 130 when you wake up is considered high. It is possible that your previous COVID-19 infection could be a contributing factor to this elevated pulse rate. However, it is important to monitor your symptoms and consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation. In the meantime, you can consider taking Metoprolol (brand name: Lopressor) 25mg once daily to help lower your heart rate.
