  5. I'm a 20-year-old male and have noticed a significant loss in hair density over the past 10 months. I used to have thick, dense, long (11-inch) wavy hair, but recently Ive been seeing thinning, especially around the crown and back of my head for the past 3 months. It started from the whorl and has gradually spread in all directions, like a whirlpool. I had a buzz cut about 5 months ago, and the temples have receded by about a cm. A few months ago, my scalp was dry and tight, but its now back to normal. Ive also been dealing with dandruff (small white flakes) thats usually worse in the winter. My family history includes:- Both grandfathers had no hair loss.- My dad is at Norwood 2.- I have two uncles who are bald, possibly due to diabetes, and one with a full head of hair.- On my moms side, two uncles are bald, and two have Norwood 0.Over the past 10 months, my hair density has reduced by about half. Ive attached some pictures that might help clarify. Can you help me understand whats happening and what I can do about it?

this looks like androgenic alopecia which is male pattern baldness, there are good treatment modalities which would help in preventing further hairfall and regrowth of your hair, visit your dermatologist for appropriate management, above this consume balanced diet with extra protien which would help in giving strength to your hair.
