  5. Hi, my newborn baby was born on 29th Jan, full-term and through normal delivery. Her CRP value came out high (39), and the doctor recommended antibiotics. But she seems to be doing fine and is feeding normally. Do we really need to give her antibiotics? Also, what does the CRP value indicate regarding infection? The blood culture test came back normal. Could you please advise?
