Hi, I had a boil a while ago, and it healed, but now theres a hard lump left in its place. Its not painful, but it does itch sometimes. Its been like this for about three months now. What could this be, and should I be worried?

You may have developed a residual lump or scar tissue after the boil healed. To help reduce the itching and possibly reduce the lump, you can try using an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream on the area.
