  5. Hi doctor,I've been struggling with really dark circles under my eyes that seem permanent, and my upper lip is really dark with almost a black lip line. I think I have melasma because I have noticeable pigmentation all over my face my nose, around my mouth, eyelids, under my eyes, sides of my cheeks, and temples. I also have several dark spots from previous acne and new ones forming from ongoing acne, though my acne isn't severe and stays under control when I watch my diet. My main issue is the pigmentation.I don't want to get any advanced treatments, but I'm willing to take medication and follow a skincare routine. Right now, I use a cleanser, toner, eye cream, serum, day/night cream, and sunscreen, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I make sure to apply sunscreen regularly. What can I do to improve my skin?
