Hi Doctor, Is it safe to give buffalo milk to a baby who is over 6 months but under 1 year? Im looking for some guidance on this.

For infants below 1 year and above 6 months:_The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends:_1. Exclusive breastfeeding until 6 months.2. Introduction of solid foods at 6 months.3. Continued breastfeeding until 12 months._Regarding buffalo milk:_1. Not recommended for infants under 1 year.2. Buffalo milk is high in protein, fat, and calories, which can be difficult for infants to digest.3. May lead to gastrointestinal issues, allergies, or intolerance._Alternative options:_1. Breast milk (ideal)2. Formula milk (if breastfeeding is not possible)3. Cow's milk or other infant formula (after 12 months)
