  5. About a month and a half ago, I had redness, itching, and a rash on my penis with smegma accumulation (Im uncircumcised). I looked it up and thought it was balanitis, so I started using coconut oil daily. Most symptoms are gone now, but there are still some cracks and cuts on the tip of the foreskin, and dry skin forms around it every day. I wash it off daily, but it hasnt improved in two weeks. Recently, I also had a hard stool that caused anal itching, which stopped after using coconut oil, but now my anus feels swollen. Im not sure whats going on with both areas or which doctor to consult. Should I continue washing off the dry skin, and are there any home remedies for the cuts and cracks?

Your symptoms may be caused due to dehydration. Increase your fluid intake on a daily basis and improve your genital hygiene by drying yourself well after each wash. Use non-irritant moisturisers and if the problem exacerbates, you should consider visiting a dermatologist.
