If you’ve gotten your period after having sex, that means you are not pregnant. And if you're taking Krimson 35, it functions as a contraceptive, so you won’t conceive while on the pill. However, if you're struggling with acne, irregular periods, or painful PMS, it's important to understand that hormonal birth control pills only mask these symptoms as they don’t address the root cause of the problem.
Moreover, these synthetic hormones can come with significant side effects. While some short-term side effects of birth control pills include gastrointestinal issues, mood swings, and irregular bleeding, the long-term risks are even more concerning. These include:
- Increased risk of cervical and breast cancers
- Higher chances of heart attack and stroke
- Migraines and high blood pressure
- Gallbladder disease
- Infertility
- Benign liver tumors
- Decreased bone density
- Yeast overgrowth and infections
- Blood clotting risks
- Given these potential health risks, birth control pills may not be the best solution for contraception, let alone for managing acne, period problems, or PCOD.
