By looking at a sample of your blood, your doctor can determine if you have abnormal levels of red or white blood cells or platelets which will inndicate whether you have leukemia.
Male: 4.7 to 6.1 million cells/mcL. Female: 4.2 to 5.4 million cells/mcL.
Usually, leukemia will be detected in CBC as a prelimnary test. However, there might be a miss.
There is no home test available for leukemia testing at home.
