It is important to do blood work, especially KFT to prevent kidney damage. If you have an existing kidney disease or ailment then the dye given during MRI might worsen your kidney functioning.

View allI am a 54 year old male with a 15 year history of type 2 diabetes. On 11th July, I underwent a microalbumin urine test. The results were: Spot Urine Microalbumin is 421.8 mg/L, Microalbumin/Creatinine ratio is 1562.22 mg/g, and blood creatinine is 1.30 mg/dL. Other results include hemoglobin 9.9 g/dL, sodium 139 mmol/L, and potassium 4.60 mmol/L. I would like your suggestions regarding these results and the next steps I should take. Please advise as soon as possible.
