I have kidney stone. What should I do other than operation?

One can increase water intake along with lemon juice. You are recommended to drink 12 glasses of water in a day to speed up the stone passing process. However, if your stone size is more than 7mm then you may need surgical intervention.

View allI have two kidney stones. My ultrasound scan shows a 10.3 mm stone in the right kidney and a 6.3 mm stone in the left kidney. The scan also notes mildly increased renal parenchymal echogenicity, suggesting medical renal disease, with bilateral non obstructing calculi. My urine and blood tests show a creatinine level of 1.65 mg/dL, urea of 31.9 mg/dL, blood urea nitrogen of 14.9 mg/dL, and protein 1. I would like to understand what this means for my kidney health and what steps I should take next.

I recently found in my report that a nonobstructive small calyceal calculus of size 2 to 3 mm is seen in the upper pole of the left side kidney. Please advise what should I do? What type of diet should be taken?
