How high is too high gestational diabetes?
A blood glucose level 200mg/dl or more is high and should be shown to a doctor immediately so that it does not affect the growing fetus.

It is diagnosed during a blood test that is done while screening for gestational diabetes such as fasting glucose.
Get the test done and if your fasting levels are more than 140mg/dl then consult with a diabetologist
It indicates slightly low blood sugar levels
High blood glucose levels during pregnancy can also increase the chance that your baby will be born too early, weigh too much, or have breathing problems or low blood glucose right after birth. It can also induce still births in pregnant woman. Hence, speak with a doctor if glucose is high.
For most individuals caffeine does not affect blood glucose levels
