My mother is suffering from dengue and she is admitted in ICU in hospital. Her blood count is 5000 only. One transfusion of platelets has already been done and now we are waiting for the next blood report. What should be done in this condition? What precautions need to be taken? Please can someone confirm if this indicates cancer? Recently, I had a very low platelet count of 108,000. I started experiencing bruising on my body and bleeding from gums. I was given medication to increase platelet count. My latest report, done day before yesterday, shows that my platelet count has increased to 533,000. I have attached the report for reference. Could you please advise if there is anything serious in my report and whether there are any indications of cancer?
