So, my dad had an angioplasty done on October 20th, and while he's getting better, he's been dealing with toothache, something he had before. I'm wondering if he could take a becosule tablet for that. Would that be safe, or might it cause any issues with his heart condition?

View allI'm a bit worried about my dad's recent test results. The doctor recommended a 2D echo and a treadmill test for him. The 2D echo came back normal, but the treadmill test showed a positive stress result. I've heard that only 4 out of 10 times, these TMT tests are accurate, which is kinda freaking me out. If one test is normal and the other one isn't, does that mean there's something to be concerned about? Could you shed some light on this?

During my recent checkup, all my cholesterol levels came back high total cholesterol at 257, triglycerides 216, HDL 40, LDL 174, VLDL 43, and non-HDL at 217. I had gallbladder and appendicitis surgery back in 2014. Could these surgeries be linked to my high cholesterol? What could be causing this, and how can I bring these numbers down? Also, what symptoms should I watch out for that might mean things are getting worse?

I was lying down and felt some mild chest pain, so I went to the doctor. They did an ECG and echo, and everything seemed normal, but it showed something about a mild TR Pah and Tr jet at 2.8 with RVSP at 30rap. The doctor said it was fine. A year later, I had another echo, and this time it showed no TR, just PJV at 1.23 msec. I'm not really sure what that means and just want to confirm that there's no PH. The echo report says chamber size and function are normal, so should I be worried about anything?
The results of your echocardiogram show that there is no tricuspid regurgitation (TR) this time, and the pulmonary jet velocity (PJV) is 1.23 msec. This indicates that there is no significant backflow of blood through the tricuspid valve and the blood flow through the pulmonary valve is normal. The right ventricular systolic pressure (RVSP) of 30 mmHg is also within normal limits, indicating normal pressure in the right side of the heart. Overall, the echo results show normal chamber size and function of your heart. No further treatment is needed at this time based on these results.
