My mom's been on atorva for the past couple of years, but she's recently started having this weird dry cough that we can't really explain. Could this be a side effect of atorva? I've read that it might lead to interstitial lung disease or something like that. She's 53, by the way. Could that be related?

View allI've had this stubborn dry cough for about 15 days now. It all started with a cold and cough, and I took some antibiotics and chest cold tablets for a few days back then. The cold cleared up, but this cough just won't go away. It's mostly at night before I sleep, but somehow it doesn't bother me when I'm actually asleep. The coughing makes it hard to breathe and sometimes I feel like my heart's racing. I even get these shivering vibrations in my upper body and hands. I already spoke to a general physician and got a bunch of medications like montelukast sodium, levocetirizine hydrochloride, methylprednisolone, and cefpodoxime proxetil potassium clavulanate. I'm on my second day of this prescription, and then I read online that some of these are for asthma. Really curious and a bit worried about what this could be, and if it's got to do with my lungs or heart. Any advice on what's going on and how to find out more?

I've been dealing with a persistent cough for the past month. I went to see a doctor who's been in practice for 21 years, and after some blood tests, including one for eosinophilia, I was told it's chronic bronchitis. I'm a bit worried about what medications to take and am really curious about any home remedies that might help. Could you give me some advice?
