My dad had an angioplasty last month, and they put in a stent, but he's been feeling dizzy about 10 days afterward. Any idea what could be causing this? I'm really worried and not sure what to do next.

I'm trying to understand more about my recent test results. It mentioned something like mild mitral stenosis with trivial regurgitation and that my left atrium is dilated. Plus, there's something about the anterior leaflet of the mitral valve being mildly thickened, and the mitral orifice measuring 2.22 square centimeters. They also noted trivial mitral regurgitation with Doppler. What does all this mean for my heart health? Should I be worried? Any advice on what steps I should take next would be really helpful.

I'm really concerned because my cholesterol is still high even after changing my diet and starting to walk regularly for the last four months. I was really hoping these changes would help. My doctor prescribed Rosubest 10mg, and I'm worried about whether this medication could affect my liver. I had a grade 2 fatty liver before and my LFT blood report showed inflammation. Could taking this tablet make that worse? Just trying to get a sense of what I should look out for.

Rosuvastatin (Rosubest 10mg) can potentially affect liver function, especially with a pre-existing grade 2 fatty liver and elevated LFTs; however, your doctor may have considered this risk and prescribed it under careful monitoring; ensure regular liver function tests (every 6-12 weeks) and report any symptoms like fatigue, jaundice, or abdominal pain to your doctor, who may adjust the dosage or consider alternative treatments.

I'm concerned about my blood pressure spiking in the evenings. It goes up to 16090, but stays under 12580 throughout the day until around 5pm. I'm 36, weigh 78kgs, and my height is 5 feet 4.5 inches. Is there something specific causing this? Any advice on what I should do?

To help manage your blood pressure spikes in the evening, you can consider taking a medication like Amlodipine (brand name Norvasc) 5mg daily in the evening. Additionally, lifestyle modifications such as reducing salt intake, regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and managing stress can also be beneficial in controlling your blood pressure. Remember to consult with your doctor before starting any new medication.
