I've been seeing a dermatologist for scarring due to acne and was prescribed Sotret 20mg. I've been taking it for the last 4 months, and while I've seen great improvements in my scars and my face is less oily, I've started experiencing some side effects. My hair has thinned out, I feel frequent eye burning, nosebleeds, stomach upset, hair fall, and back pain. Are these side effects of Sotret, and will they be permanent or stop once I stop taking the drug? Will my hair grow back to its original thickness, and if so, how long will it take to return to normal? I mentioned these symptoms to my dermatologist, but she doesn't acknowledge them as side effects of the drug. Any advice would be much appreciated.
