I've been having a hard time breathing, like it feels like it takes me forever to catch a proper breath. It's also really slow and difficult for me to eat my meals because of this. Do you have any idea what could be going on?

View allI've been dealing with a dry cough for the last six months, and it's really starting to worry me. I've tried more than 10 different cough syrups, but nothing seems to work. It gets so bad at night that I can't sleep because of the coughing. What's strange is, I don't have a runny nose. Could you give me some advice on what might be causing this and how I might be able to treat it?
Im sorry youve been dealing with this persistent dry cough for so long. Since over-the-counter cough syrups havent helped, its important to get evaluated by a doctor to rule out conditions like GERD, asthma, or postnasal drip. A thorough examination and possibly some tests will help get to the root cause and find the right treatment to bring you relief.

Hey, I've been smoking about 10-12 cigarettes a day and lately I'm noticing some worrying things. There's a persistent pain in my throat and sometimes in my chest too. I'm also dealing with a sore throat alongside a coughing issue that's not going away. Could you suggest what might be going on or what I should do about it?
To help with the pain in your throat and chest, as well as the sore throat and coughing, I recommend you try using lozenges containing benzocaine for throat pain relief. Additionally, you can use cough syrup containing dextromethorphan to help with the cough. It is important to reduce or quit smoking to improve your symptoms and overall health.
