I've been dealing with asthma since I was 20, and my doctor has me using an asthma pump twice a day. I'm really wondering if using the pump and taking medicines can actually completely cure my asthma. Is there hope for getting rid of it entirely, or will I need to manage it this way long-term?

I'm wondering if Duolin helps clear mucus from my airways. If so, where does the mucus go once it's cleared? Does it pass out through feces or does it just dry up in the airways?

I've been getting this slight cough since May and I don't usually cough a lot, but I feel like there's some chest congestion. Could it be that there's thickened mucus there? I'm really worried about my mom. She's been dealing with a dry cough for about five days now and she's on Doxofylline tablets and Forcef 500.
