I'm really worried because I've been dealing with TB for about a year now and I've been on the medications Rcinex 750mg and Combutal 800mg the whole time. The doctor advised me to stop after 9 months, which I did, but now I'm experiencing a fever and a slow cough again. I had to restart the meds and I'm not seeing any weight gain either, which is concerning. Also, whenever I drink something like Thums Up, my tongue feels really strange and kind of tingly. What should I do about all this? I'm a bit confused and would like some guidance.

I'm experiencing some side effects from using the Seretide Accuhaler, and it's starting to concern me. Is there anything I can do to manage these side effects better? Or maybe you could suggest an alternative treatment that might work for me without these issues? I'm looking for some guidance on what to do next.

I'm really confused about the treatment I got for my chest issues. I had TB back in 2013, and though I don't smoke a lot, I've been smoking occasionally for about 1.5 years. Lately, I've noticed some blood with my morning cough over the last couple of months. I went to AIIMS, got all the tests doneDOTS, blood reports, HRCT Chest, and X-ray reportsand the doctor said everything was fine. They only prescribed me some painkillers and vitamins for my chest pain. But I can't help but worry if my occasional smoking might have been overlooked. Could that be the case, or am I overthinking it? Would love some clarity on this.

I'm trying to understand the difference between DOTS and ATT. Are these two distinct methods for treating extrapulmonary tuberculosis? I've heard a bit about them, but I'm not sure how they differ or which might be more suitable. Could you help clarify this for me?

DOTS is directly obseved therapy shortcourse,ATT is anti tubercular therapy.DOTS is free of cost, has fewer side-effects,and used for severe tb treatment. ATT has treatment failure and relapse and has increased side -effects compared to dots.
