I'm really worried because ever since I had a viral infection, I've been dealing with this persistent cough and wheezing that just won't go away. It even flares up when I'm talking sometimes. What could be causing this, and should I be concerned about it being something more serious?

View allI'm feeling really worried because my family member has been having a bad cough and chest congestion for a few days now. He's also struggling to get any sleep at night and it seems to get worse when he's talking. We went to a doctor and while his blood pressure is fine and the X-ray showed everything is normal, the doctor prescribed some tablets and a syrup, including Ecozet MTA and Amoxicillin, and also recommended using Neb Duolin for a week. We've been following the prescription, but the cough is still not going away. What should our next steps be? Should we be concerned or try something different?
medications given are good, take syrup ascoril twice a day for 1 week

I'm really concerned about something I read recently regarding pigeons and lung health. It mentioned that pigeons can cause lung disease, including bronchitis and lung infections. Could you explain how this happens? Do pigeons release some kind of acid that's harmful to us when we breathe in? I'm just trying to understand why this might trigger such issues with our lungs.
Yes,avoid contact with the pigeons.

I'm trying to make sense of a chest ultrasound report and figure out if a pleural effusion should be drained. Is there any way to tell how much fluid is too much, or any specific measurements I should be looking for? I'm really unsure about what indicates a need for drainage.
it should be done clinically
