I'm really worried about my friend. His oxygen level is around 90 when he's on 2L of support, but it drops to 55 when he tries to sit or do anything active. I know he had corona, and his CT score was 1424 on May 7, 2021. They've given him remdesivir, and he seems to be recovering from the virus, but he's having trouble breathing when the oxygen support is removed. It's been a month since he tested positive for COVID, yet he still needs oxygen. He recently had another CT scan on May 28, and the score is up to 2124. Can you help me understand what's going on with him? Why is he still facing these breathing issues? He's still in the hospital, and we're just really concerned.

his CT score has increased that means his infection is increased. that infection needs to be reduced then only he can be without oxygen support

View allI'm a bit confused about my medication. I had COVID about a month ago and ended up in the ICU with severe pneumonia for 12 days. Thankfully, I'm home now and feeling healthier, but still having trouble breathing, especially when walking or exercising. My oxygen saturation is around 95-96. My doctor put me on pirfenidone 200 mg, twice a day, and also Foracort 200, twice a day. But I thought pirfenidone was for idiopathic lung fibrosis. Does this mean I might have fibrosis, or is there another reason for prescribing it? I'm really worried about this and would appreciate some insight.
there might be effect of pneumonia as fibrosis,so they might have give tablet perfonidone

I'm having some trouble with breathing after meals. It's like shortness of breath, and I find it hard to breathe properly. It's kind of worrying me, and I'm not sure what's causing it. Could this be related to something I'm eating or how I'm eating? Would love your insight on this.

I've been dealing with a cough for about a month now. I saw a doctor, and my lab results showed it was typhoid. I did the prescribed treatment for a month and stopped, and while I'm not feeling super sick anymore, I'm still not feeling 100% either. I get this occasional deep dry cough a few times a day, and my doctor mentioned it might be allergic bronchiolitis and could stick around for a while. I also feel weak sometimes and have loose motions on occasion. Do you think I should see a doctor again? If so, what kind of specialist would be best? Or is this something that happens after typhoid and will eventually go away on its own? I'm just a bit worried since it's been a month already.
