I'm really worried about my father. He tested positive for Covid yesterday, and his CT value is 16. He's had a fever for about eight days now with a temperature between 100 to 101. He's also diabetic and although he's been on diabetes medication for years, we're stressed because the fever hasn't eased up yet. He completed both doses of the Covid vaccine a few months back. His current oxygen levels are around 98-99, and his heart rate is between 71-80. He's got a cough and cold too. We started him on Covid meds and are keeping him in home quarantine, but I'm unsure if we should get a Lungs CT Scan done given his diabetes and the persisting fever. What do you suggest?

I recently got an HRCT scan done for a surgery, and the report mentioned a small fibrotic patch in the middle lobe close to the oblique fissure. The rest of the HRCT of my chest is basically normal with no signs of viral pneumonia. But I'm pretty worried about this fibrotic patch. I dont have any bad habits or anything like that. Should I be concerned about this?

Patient is advised tab augmentin 625mg orally, thrice dailly for 5 days, tab levocetrizine 10 mg for 5 days and syrup salbutoml 10 ml thrice dailly for 5 days. A sputum for AFB and microscopy and spirometry is advised to the patient.

I'm really worried and confused. My husband tested positive for COVID-19 after his third RTPCR test. We consulted three different doctors, and now his HRCT chest scan shows mild involvement with a score of 625. Can he recover at home with medication? Every doctor seems to have a different opinion, and Im not sure which advice to follow. What should I do?

I only smoke around 2 cigarettes a day, so I'm really wondering what my chances are of having lung cancer right now. Also, what kind of tests should I think about if I want to check for it? I could really use some guidance here.

Lung cancer is diagnosed with biopsy,bronchoscopy,x--ray chest pa view,USG chest,CT thorax ,PET scan ,complete blood count and tumour markers like CEA-Carcinoembryonic antigen.
