I'm really worried about my brother. His oxygen levels are around 90, and he's got a cough in his lungs, but all his tests for COVID, typhoid, and malaria came back negative. He's been admitted to the hospital and is on oxygen, but his levels aren't improving. What should we consider doing next?

View allWhat are the 4 types of hypoxia?
The four types are as follows: (1) the hypoxemic type, in which the oxygen pressure in the blood going to the tissues is too low to saturate the hemoglobin. (2) the anemic type, in which the amount of functional hemoglobin is too small, and hence the capacity of the blood to carry oxygen is too low. (3) the stagnant type, in which the blood is or may be normal but the flow of blood to the tissues is reduced or unevenly distributed. (4) the histotoxic type, in which the tissue cells are poisoned and are therefore unable to make proper use of oxygen.

I've had a minimal PTB condition about 20 years ago and completed all the meds back then, but my latest X-ray just came back saying there's minimal PTB in the left upper lobe with undetermined activity. Should I be concerned about this result? What does 'undetermined activity' mean and could the PTB have come back, or could it be something else? I'm really worried and would appreciate your advice on what steps I should take next.

I've been dealing with a dry cough for about four months now since having COVID. I've already had a chest X-ray and a CT scan, and both showed everything is normal. I'm a bit worried because the cough just won't go away. Could you recommend a good medicine or treatment to help with this?
