I'm really worried about my 16-year-old brother. He's been having this sharp pain in his chest whenever he takes a deep breath, and it's been going on for a couple of months. We initially thought it might be because of junk food, but he's actually stopped eating it for about 8 months now. I'm trying to figure out what could be causing this pain when he breathes deeply. Could it be something serious? What should we do about it?

View allI've been wondering about something. If a person can hold their breath for 30 to 40 seconds, does that mean their lungs are in good health? Is this actually true, or is it just a myth? I'd really like to know what you think.

I'm dealing with this dry cough that just won't go away. It's been ages, and nothing seems to come up when I cough. I've already gone to the hospital and got tested. The docs gave me some tablets and did an X-ray too. But even after all of this, the cough hasnt stopped. One of the doctors mentioned it's not TB and said my chest looks clear. So what else could be causing this? I'm 26, don't smoke, and only drink alcohol on rare occasions and in small amounts. Just trying to figure out what's going on here.
That could be either allergic bronchitis or pharyngitis, visit Physician for appropriate management and consume warm liquids and fruits for better healing.

I'm really concerned about my mom's situation. She's 55 and had fluid buildup in one of her lungs. She's done with the treatment for that, but she's still taking medicine for TB. I have the fluid report attached, and I saw the term "malignant tumor" mentioned in relation to increased serum levels. Should I be worried about that? Is there something seriously wrong that we should know about?
